Families, Children, and Youth

It’s time to Zoom!

Join us for a virtual meeting and let’s catch up. It’s been almost three weeks since we have been together in our church. Please join us to let us know how you are doing. You are missed!

For families with toddlers and very young children, you are welcome to join in the “CHT Kids Connect” group. We know little ones will enjoy seeing faces, even if they don’t fully understand what is going on. I’m sure they will be happy to see the faces and hear voices of their church family.

Below are two invitations.

  • “CHT Kids Connect” Zoom meeting at 4p this Sunday, March 29th. Parents are welcome to hang out with us.
  • “The Teen Compass Meet Up” at 7:30p this Sunday, March 29th. Parents are asked to give your tweens and teens privacy for this meeting, just as you do for Sunday morning classes, so we can chat as usual.

Both Zoom meetings are password protected. Please email Soozung Rankin, Program Director at srankin@htrit.org to get the PASSWORDS.

We really hope to see you soon this Sunday!

Soozung Rankin is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Children and youth have an important place and a critical role at The Church of the Holy Trinity. They are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the leaders of today. A team of experienced professionals and dedicated volunteers have designed a program for children ages 0 – teens.

Children and youth are encouraged to discover their gifts and passions, and are supported by their church family to use their ideas to influence their families, their church, their community, and our world. We are interested in understanding each child’s spiritual location, learning from them, helping them grow, giving them guidance, and journeying alongside their spiritual formation.

9:30 AM Connections is where faith formation is happening for all ages year-round Sunday morning. October through May, we follow a curriculum appropriate for each level of learning. June through September, we follow a workshop-style of teaching and learning. Click here for details about our 9:30 AM Connections and the 11 AM Interactive Story Time/Craft Activity.

Our children and youth are involved in worship as leaders, handchimes choir, vocal choir, theatre drama vignettes, guitar choir, Communion bread making, bi-annual art show, liturgical dance, junior helpers in the classrooms, outreach efforts to help our unhoused neighbors and their peers in underserved neighborhoods.

You do not need to be a member to participate in any of our activities, ministries or events. For more information and to talk with a staff member about your questions or to get involved, please contact, Ms. Soozung Sa Rankin, Program Director, srankin@htrit.org.
