Dear Friends,
Each fall, when we come to this season of stewardship, I find myself asking a simple but important question: what difference has Holy Trinity made in my life this year? For me, and for so many of us, the answer is not found in one single moment, but in a collection of experiences that form a much bigger picture. It is the laughter echoing through the sanctuary after worship, the quiet comfort of prayer when the world feels overwhelming, the meals shared at Open Hearts, and the countless times we have shown up for one another in 2025 thus far. These are not just programs or events; they are glimpses of God’s love made real among us.
When we talk about giving, it can sometimes feel like we are just talking about numbers on a page. But really, we are talking about relationships. What kind of community do we want to be? What kind of presence do we want Holy Trinity to have on Rittenhouse Square, in Philadelphia, and in the lives of those who walk through our doors? I believe the answer is clear: we want to be a place of welcome, of renewal, of courage and joy. A place where differences are embraced, where creativity flourishes, and where faith is lived out in service. This is the vision that has guided us over the past year, and it is coming alive in new and beautiful ways.
.
That’s where your pledge comes in. Each gift, large or small, is not just a donation. It is a statement of faith. It is a way of saying, WE believe in what this community can be, and I want to be part of it. I invite you to prayerfully consider your pledge for this year’s Stewardship Campaign. In giving, we are not simply meeting a budget, we are participating in a movement that touches countless lives. Together, our offerings create waves that extend across Rittenhouse Square, throughout the city, and even beyond.
So, I ask you to take a moment and reflect: how has Holy Trinity shaped you this year? Who or what do you hope we will continue to be for you; and for those who have yet to find their way here? And then, out of that reflection, I invite you to respond with generosity
Together, we can ensure that Holy Trinity remains a sanctuary
not only for us, but for generations to come.
With gratitude and appreciation,
