Open Hearts Cafe

Throughout our history, The Church of the Holy Trinity has been a source of generosity in Rittenhouse Square. Since 2017, we have expanded our reach and mission to create the Open Hearts Cafe. Providing our space, kitchen, food, and chefs, the Church of the Holy Trinity is able to feed and clothe hundreds every Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with wide open hearts.

As we continue to expand our hosting abilities for our neighbors in need, we depend on your help. Click below to volunteer or donate funds to this life-giving ministry, and contact Rev. John Gardner about current clothing donation needs (or check out our wishlist!).

Donations can be dropped off in person through the front doors of the church anytime we are open - generally Monday-Thursday from 10 AM - 3 PM, excepting federal holidays.

Since 2017, the Church of the Holy Trinity has been a source of giving in Rittenhouse Square. Through the help of outside organizations, we established a food and clothing ministry to provide to those in our neighborhood who may be experiencing houselessness or food insecurity. Twice a week, community meals have been hosted and gifts made from our clothing closet.

In 2021, CHT was able to expand these ministries on our own, and thus the Open Hearts Cafe was born. Providing our space, kitchen, food, and chefs, the Church of the Holy Trinity is able to feed and clothe hundreds every Sunday and Tuesday at 4:30 pm with wide open hearts.
