A MESSAGE FROM OUR CLERGY
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CLERGY
We are so glad to connect with you online, and hope you find helpful information on this website.
As a community of faith, we open wide our hearts and our doors, reflecting our core values of being Joyful, Fearless, Embracing and Engaged.
As life continues to change and shift, what we do at the church will reflect these changes. At this moment in time, the way we live out our mission as Holy Trinity Church are as follows:
Our doors are open Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm. You are welcome to explore our historic sanctuary, take a moment of rest in our sacred space, grab a cup of coffee or a snack, and offer or ask for prayers for those on your heart. Sometimes you might be lucky and get a sneak peek at the music for Sunday. We want you to feel at home in our space and to find a connection with the sacred, no matter your background.
On Sundays, we open wide our doors for our services in person and online at 11:00 am. All are welcome to join us. Our music and preaching offer uplifting messages that fill us for the week, while the constancy of our liturgy offers continuity and stability.
The Revs. Rachel and John Gardner
After church, we gather together for snacks and conversation in the back of the church or outside if the weather is nice. Classes for adults often happen before church around a book or discussion topic of the day. We also have classes about the Episcopal Church, for those who are new to our tradition. Learning together is more than just gaining knowledge, we also form community and friendships.
On Tuesdays and Sundays, people from all over the city come to our space to volunteer and to receive care and necessities at our Open Hearts Café. We serve food and offer seasonable clothing and shoes to all who come seeking care. Our staff and volunteers live into their vocation as they to create community and get to know the people they serve.
We invite you to join us at the church to get to know us more, and to explore online.
Blessings,
The Revs. Rachel and John Gardner, Rectors
