JUNE: TURN
The big idea for the month: We can always turn back to God, receive forgiveness, and follow Jesus into new life.
This month invites children, youth, and adults to explore what it means to TURN—to stop, notice where we are, and return to God’s love again and again. Through story, prayer, conversation, and practice, we remember that God never stops welcoming us home.
TURN is not about shame or punishment. It is about grace. Jesus shows us that every new beginning starts with being welcomed, loved, and invited forward.
CORE SCRIPTURES FOR THE MONTH
Gospel of Luke 15:11–32: The Forgiving Father / The Lost Son (aka the Prodigal Son)
God welcomes us home with joy and compassion.
Book of Psalms 51:10–12 “Create in me a clean heart, O God…”
God renews and restores us.
Gospel of Matthew 4:18–20 “Follow me.”
Jesus calls ordinary people into new life.

MAY: GETTING STARTED WITH THE WAY OF LOVE
Dear Friends,
Welcome to at home faith formation support as we learn to Love Like Jesus.
Theme for May: Getting Started with the Way of Love
This week’s focus is on loving through service, being created in God’s image, and loving God with all that we are.
Attached you’ll find resources for a range of ages, from toddlers through adults. Each section includes scripture, simple activities, dinner conversation ideas, and prayers for mealtimes/bedtime. There are separate sheets for each age group, as well as a combined matrix for households with multiple age groups.
You know your family best, so feel free to choose whatever fits your rhythms and interests. You might try just one scripture or one activity—this isn’t about doing everything, but about finding small, meaningful ways to bring faith into your everyday life.
It’s also meant to be enjoyable and low-pressure. If something doesn’t connect right away, that’s okay—there may be another moment or activity that resonates more later.
Grace and peace,
The Rev. Rachel Wenner Gardner

EASTER
Dear Holy Trinity Community,
This Sunday, we enter Holy Week—the holiest time in the Christian year. Together, we walk the path Jesus traveled: from his entry into Jerusalem, to the Last Supper, to the cross, to the tomb, and finally to the joy of the resurrection on Easter morning.
These sacred days invite us into the full range of human experience—love, loss, grief, silence, and hope. While it can be tempting to skip ahead to Easter joy, Holy Week calls us to slow down and move through each moment, trusting that God is present in all of it.
